My newborns shoots are extremely relaxed and very natural in style. It is a time when you are getting used to your new child and their needs and characters which is also a time when your world has been turned upside down!. So with this in mind I will come to you to allow you to relax in your own environment. This leeds to wonderful natural images using only available light, soft and full of meaning. The best time to capture the newborn look is within the first few weeks when they are still very sleepy and squidgy and haven't ironed out too much. We will aim to have some wakeful shots and sleepy shots so if you put aside an hour and a half that should be ample time. I will not spend hours trying to pose your baby into unatural positions in order to take a cute shot, but will aim to create a natural looking artistic image that will stand the test of time.
If you would like to make the most of the 3 shoots in a year, then the best times to take these are 3-4 months, 7-8 months, and 12-14 months. I will leave it up to you which 3 times you choose if you would like to do the newborn session as well. This price again is only to cover the session times, prints etc are in addition to this.
The price only covers the session itself, my time and expertise, and the preparation of your images for viewing
