How does dog photography work
The Studio I use for dog photoshoots is in Ealing, West London and has the best lighting and backgrounds available to create elegant artistic portraits of your pet. In the booking form below, you can let me know any details about your dog I should know and the colouring they have.
On the day of the shoot, they should be looking their best and hair trimmed to make sure we can see their eyes. You should bring with you any of their favourite toys and treats and we'll do the rest.
Within a week I will have edited your best shots and create an online gallery for you to select your favourites from. You then have 5 days to make your order.
Studio Dog Photoshoots
The Studio is in Ealing W5 4UJ, in my home so not too unusual for your dog to go to. If they are of a nervous disposition, do let me know in the booking, we can ease them in gently with the flash lights. If they can't tolerate the flash (it's rare but it does happen) then we can use natural light to get a similar beautiful effect.
Outside Dog Photoshoots
To do an outdoor shoot, we'll arrange to meet at one of the great locations near to your home. We can talk about the best options beforehand in terms of aesthetics, business, access etc.
You can if you like get me to come to your local park, there's a small fee for the time.
FAQ
Can I bring more than one animal?
Yes absolutely, when you book the shoot below, the booking will ask if you have additional animals which will be charged at £30 each

Do you do Gift Vouchers?

Can I bring more than one dog?
Yes you can, the charge for extra dogs is £30 per animal.
Do you provide dog Grooming?
No but I can recommend a dog grooming service very near to the studio
What if my dog needs to be on the lead?
There are ways we can edit out the lead and collar if needs be so don't worry, if it helps to get the portrait taken we can work around this.
What if my dog doesn't like the studio?
If they don't like being in the studio space and react to the flash lights, we can use natural light and still get gorgeous images
What should I bring?
Bring their favourite toys and treat and a brush for last minute touch ups.
Where is the studio?
My studio is in my home in Hertfordshire, you can park on the road outside very easily.
Do you do in our homes?
No, I need a good space to make the portraits really special and there's generally not enough room for this in a home environment.
How long will it take?
For 1 dog, it might be half an hour depending on how well they respond, but allow an hour for safety. For 2 dogs about 45 mins- 60 mins.
Do you do other animals?
Yes, cats and rabbits are very doable, though you'll need a harness/lead for obvious reasons.
