Ealing Family Photoshoots

For family photoshoots  Ealing in West London is lucky to have a number of great parks for photography.

Gunnersbury Park

Pros

It is a huge space, wild and mature, great wooded areas and fallen logs wich are fantastic for portrait photography.  It’s easy to park and has good coffee for after the shoot.  We can let the kids run with great backdrops here.

Cons

It can get very crowded, especially at weekends, so it’s best to do early morning or weekdays to get there without traffic issues.

Times of year to do a shoot

All year around.  Fantastic colours in the autumn, lovely long grasses in the summer.

Logistics

The Main car park is usually fine unless you’re wanting to be there mid morning on a sunny saturday.  There is a different app to pay for the parking so do allow a few mins for this.

Best for

Wide open spaces, great mature trees and lovely logs.

Blondin Park

Pros

It is a Smaller space than Gunnersbury but is often very quiet and has a great selection of different photography spots, from tree lined avenue to long grasses and mature trees.  I love it for the dirt tracks which always look better than tarmac in photos.

Cons

Parking is slightly harder but you can park on my road and we can walk down (2 mins walk).

Times of year to do a shoot

Summer is amazing here, with long grassess and lush trees.

Best for

Romantic deserted look, great foliage and dirt tracks.
