This family I have photographed 4 times now, the kids are good friends now and we have so much fun together. I thoroughly enjoy family photo shoots especially when I get to see the kids grow up, in this case every 6 months we do a top up at their home. The light this day was quite harsh so keeping to the shade was key to getting the best lighting, but they also have a fabulous house in which to get great window light.
Lifestyle photography is more about capturing natural behaviour rather than getting bog standard posed images. And as such the images are far more relaxed and, in my opinion, beautiful. As a general rule I do Children’s photoshoots on location or at my clients homes where it is more conducive to getting that relaxed atmosphere.
