A few images from a Family Photoshoot Isleworth
A family I have photographed before have recently become the proud parents of a ColiDoodle and wanted to capture the dog with their family in a location shoot. Now I don’t normally do animals as they can be extremely unpredictable and difficult to sit still, even more so than children. At least I know how to deal with children, but dogs…I have to rely quite heavily on the owners of the dog to make sure the animal behaves in front of the camera. This dog was extremely cute but had the attention span of a gnat!! Thankfully the 10 year old girl was fantastic with him and got him to sit still and cuddle for a bit.
Always good to meet a fellow red head!
I am a strong advocate of location family photoshoots as I have seen over the years the difference in how children behave both in the studio and outdoors. It’s a hands down winner for the wide outdoors for so many reason. An outdoor location or even in your home, will help to calm any nerves or relax any tension and children can then be themselves and allow everyone to play and explore keeping the kids happy by moving around and finding more things to do. I love the challenge that the outdoors gives me with photography, the different lighting and backgrounds make for endless options for style and composition allowing me to be creative and artistic as well as keep the kids happy. For more images of families go to the children’s gallery.
I have been a family photographer for over 10 years and simply love these shoots. I am gaining a reputation for being one of the best fine art location photographers in London which makes me very proud.
I have established myself as one of London’s leading children’s photographers and cover most of the Greater London area as well as the home counties and regularly drive out to Windsor, Henley and Wokingham for family shoots.
