It was a complete pleasure to photograph this family in their rather beautiful local park. As a Notting Hill children’s photographer I have done quite a few shoots in Holland Park but there are lovely nooks and crannies that I’ve still not seen before. This family were really nervous having never had their photos done before, rather camera shy and not sure how their 2 year old would respond as she was not too keen on strangers. It was thus hugely gratifying to have such fun with them and to have such happy customers at the end of it all.
This is the response I got from the day after the shoot and then the final email after receiving their album..
I’m writing to say a big thank you from all of us for yesterday. It was lovely to meet you, and Shabs and I were saying last night how easy you made it all (particularly for two people who aren’t particularly comfortable in front of the camera; forget Rose who suddenly decided to be a natural!). We really enjoyed it and you worked so quickly and efficiently that the hour was over before we knew it. Hope it wasn’t too difficult for you working ‘on the hoof’ without knowledge of the park.
Btw Rose is still talking about her “bangle from Susan” and “walking with Susan” – as I mentioned she’s not one to warm immediately to strangers so thanks for being so easy with her too. I’m sure you hear this comment a lot though! – it’s a natural skill

This is simply to say a big thank you again – we received the package with the album and images over the weekend and can’t stop looking at the photo book. I even broke my own vow and showed it to my parents because I couldn’t wait until Christmas… It’s absolutely brilliant and exactly the result we were hoping for.
Thanks for making the whole process so quick, efficient, pleasurable and successful. We’d love to use your services again once Number 2 makes its appearance (hopefully soon, given I’m ready to pop!) and I’ll be recommending your services without hesitation to friends and family.
