Where is the photography studio?
The studio is at 31 Wellington Road, Ealing, W5 4UJ. There is free parking on the road outside and it is only 2 mins walk from Northfields tube station on the Piccadilly Line. Or take the E2 from Ealing Broadway station and get off at the Julian Rd stop.
You can find me on Google Maps. I’m about 20 drive from Chelsea, 25 mins from Hampstead, 30 mins from Wimbledon, 30 mins from Heathrow.
What is the studio like?
When you arrive at my family photography studio you may be a little perturbed that it’s a normal looking terraced house in Ealing, but don’t worry, I have a fully equipped studio behind the Edwardian doors!! The beauty of having a studio in my home should become clear to you when you arrive, it’s a home. So even if you feel nervous about doing a shoot (after all, who here feels completely fine having their photo taken?) you are welcomed into my home and you will immediately feel like a guest rather than a client.
What is in the studio?
The studio has numerous backdrop colours in sumptuous canvas and paper that I work with regularly and that I feel are the most elegant. We will choose colours of materials and clothing to compliment both your skin tone and the backdrops.
Why Choose a studio photoshoot versus an outdoor photoshoot?
The Studio offers a weather proof experience that has controlled lighting and backgrounds. It’s a private space which for some is very important. I can control every aspect of the photography so we can concentrate on you enjoying your experience with a more polished look and feel
Who should do a studio photoshoot?
I would suggest most people use the studio for their maternity shoot and newborn too but when you get to kids who can walk it’s probably easier to go outdoors. Children don’t like to be in one spot where the light is best, they want to move around and explore so studio can be tricky. See my location photography portfolio here.
I had such a wonderful experience with Susan for a photoshoot with my baby. She is friendly, extremely professional, and a truly talented photographer. The photos of my daughter came out absolutely beautiful! Susan knew exactly how to make her feel comfortable and confident, and captured her sweet smiles perfectly.
Even though she was fully booked, Susan kindly made time for us since I was only in London for two weeks, and she was so accommodating and thoughtful throughout the entire process. I’m so grateful for the stunning photos and for her kindness, and I hope to do another photoshoot with her in the future!
