How does it work?

We had a maternity family photoshoot with Susan. She made us feel very comfortable and welcome, she is a very creative individual and has great passion and skill for photography. We have just received our photos and they are absolutely stunning, capturing emotions and beaming with creative spark. I photograph regularly in a wide range of carefully selected outdoor locations across London. These include parks, woodland, open countryside and quiet, scenic spaces that provide privacy, easy access and consistently beautiful light.
You are welcome to choose a location that has personal meaning to you, or I can suggest a tried-and-tested setting that I know photographs exceptionally well. My familiarity with these locations means I can quickly find the best compositions and lighting, ensuring we make the most of your time together.

A Relaxed & Personal Pregnancy Photoshoot Experience
Outdoor maternity photoshoots are flexible and personal. You may choose to be photographed on your own, with your partner, or with older children — and well-behaved family pets are very welcome too.
Sessions typically last up to an hour, allowing time for relaxed pacing and gentle guidance. Depending on the season, we may plan your shoot around golden-hour light at sunset or embrace the crisp, ethereal feel of colder weather.

Where do you do these maternity outdoor photoshoots?
We can discuss where to do your shoot when you book as there will be considerations for weather, time of year, and if you have other children or dogs with you. I can find great locations all around London
For the parachute dress shoot shown above, there are 2 locations that are ideal for the parachute dress shoots, one is in West London at a viaduct in Hanwell, the other is Hampstead Heath.
Where would you suggest for a sunset shoot?
I think the most successful sunset shoots I’ve done are in Richmond Park. It’s lovely and quiet in the late evening and the lake and mature trees really looks amazing.
What should I wear for my maternity shoot?
I have created a guide to help you to decide what to wear for your photoshoot. If you have any questions about this do let me know.
If you would like to wear the parachute dress shown in the images above, the fee would be £100 extra and we can chat about logistics.
How does it work?
Once we’ve worked out the best location for your shoot, I’ll give you a guide to the best clothing and colours to wear to really make the most of the asthetics of your images. I’ll then keep a close eye on the weather and work out a meeting point.
I’ll take you and your partner around the area choosing great light and composition to get a lovely selection of images for you to choose from.
We’ll do a mixture of natural shots and slightly posed shots but all of them will be beautiful and you don’t need to know how to standl, I’ll direct you so you look great.
Can I bring my partner/children?
Yes absolutely if you’ve booked a Silver or higher package, the more the merrier. You can even bring a dog if you have one..though a cat might be tricky!!
What if the weather is bad?
Ideally I am looking for an overcast day with no rain in order to get the shots I want. If it’s looking like it’s going to be heavy rain we may need to push back a day or so.
