Why is a professional image so important?
If you’re a professional Musician, Actor, Dancer, Business owner or Manager, you need to have a strong image in this world. I aim to give you a very personalised experience, unique to you and your style either in the studio or on location around London. I don’t do a standard headshot shoot but rather create unique images to make you stand out from the crowd and show your character.

How does a publicity shoot work?
How does a Publicity Shoot work?
So once we have a date arranged and you have decided if you want a studio or outdoor shoot (see below for ideas on this), we can chat about style and colours for your intended look and feel. I can advice you on what to wear and how to wear your hair etc based on who you are and how you want to be portrayed.
You arrive ready to go in your first outfit and can do a few changes during the shoot to give you lots of great looks. I will also be changing up the backgrounds and lighting to give you interesting looks rather than bog standard headshot looks.
I will then edit down the images to give you a selection of between 40 – 70 images depending on your package, from which to choose your favourites. You are of course welcome to buy more images if you would like them at £30 each.
I will then supply your purchased images in landscape, portrait and square formats so you don’t have any future headaches getting the right crop for the programme or brochure you’ll be appearing in.
Should I do a studio or outdoor publicity shoot?
It’s very much a personal thing this. If you feel you’d like something more natural and want nature to be a part of your identity then I can recommend great locations for a shoot. A more edgy look would suite a central london location perhaps with architecture playing a roll too.
The West London Studio has 5 different backdrop colours, all suited to making you look amazing, they are hand painted and gorgeous colours. I will make sure you have the best colour for the outfit and skin/hair tone you have.
To give you an idea, the outdoor publicity shoots I’ve done in the last year have been for a singer songwriter, a nutritionalist, a therapist and a dog trainer. The outdoor images portray slightly different kind of person but you’ll not be able to change outfits on an outdoor shoot very easily so this may be something to think about.
How are the images edited?
On the first edit I will tidy up hair and clothing issues, once you have selected your favourites you can let me know if you would like any skin retouching done. I would keep any skin retouching to a more natural look.
How long will the images take to edit?
I am pretty fast at turning these around and you should have your gallery within a few days of the shoot. If you’re up against a deadline for them just let me know I will work out a way to get them to you quicker.
I'm really shy but I need publicity images..
You’re not alone, I have seen many people who are shy and not used to posing for the camers. Please don’t worry, I have many years experience in putting people at ease and posing them to best show off their best selves. It’s a fun session of trying stuff out and playing with light, clothing and siliness to get the best kind of images, natural and fabulous.
Do you do Hair and Makeup?
No I don’t do HAMU at the studio so do arrive ready to go. Obviously bring some makeup to do touch ups and a hair brush.
How do I book in for a publicity shoot?
The best plan is to have some dates you know you can do and to contact me on Whatsapp or email to get the conversation going. I’ll then send you a deposit request which will secure your booking. You’ll pay half now and half on the day of the shoot. Extra images can be purchased after you see your gallery at £30 each.

Bronze 30 min shoot - £199
Half an hour in the studio – 2 background/clothing changes – plus 3 images chosen from your gallery. Choose to buy more images at £30 each
Silver 1 hr shoot - £299
One hour shoot – upto 4 background/clothing changes – plus 5 images chosen from your gallery – purchase more at £30 per image
Gold 1.15hr shoot - £699
70 mins shoot – as many changes as you can do in the time – plus all images
2 person Silver 1.5hr shoot - £399
Bring a friend – 2 person publicity shoot in the studio or on location, each person gets 45 mins and 4 images included. Extra images can be bought for £30 each.
